Festo Didactic and Universal Robots Academy announced today the release of the Festo MPS Universal Robot Station and Troubleshooting Training Package. The Festo MPS Universal Robot Station is available now for high schools, colleges, and universities across North America, and in most countries worldwide.

Festo Didactic is gearing up again for the annual SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) in Atlanta, Georgia from June 24 - 28. In addition to sponsoring the mechatronics competition, Festo is joining forces with certification entity NC3 and its industry partners for the second year in a row in the exhibit hall. Booth #821 will become an innovative and immersive learning space that provides an in-depth look at factory automation, education and training.  

For the first time at Automate, exhibits from Festo Didactic, the learning arm of Festo, are within the Festo booth. The joint appearance of Festo and Festo Didactic illustrates the importance the company places on workforce development as North American reshoring accelerates. Digitalization is changing the way people learn, and not just because in-person learning became so difficult with pandemic lockdowns. Trends such as mobile, micro, adaptive, and virtual reality learning were already beginning to exert an influence in technical education and training. To further these and other trends, Festo Didactic developed a digital learning portal – the Festo Learning Experience, or Festo LX – to make it easier to create individual learning experiences for trainers and trainees.
