Per aiutare i futuri dentisti e assistenti odontoiatrici durante i trattamenti odontoiatrici per bambini, l'azienda giapponese tmsuk ha sviluppato un robot umanoide che simula realisticamente il comportamento dei bambini piccoli durante questi trattamenti: dall’agitazione all’apertura e chiusura della bocca. I movimenti realistici del manichino sono prodotti utilizzando regolatori di pressione proporzionali con tecnologia piezoelettrica Festo.
